    Gimme some ideas

    Ok well summer vacation is almost over. I start college on the 1'st, but I gotta get into my schedule by mid week (sleep early, get up early, buy books etc...) Just wanted some ideas on what I should do before hell starts all over again. Summer went by SOOOO FAST it wasnt even funny. Had a great time though. Iv got another 4-5 days left, so any input is appreciated.

    Don't try going to sleep early. It won't help if you're waking up at noon everyday.

    Rather, set your alarm for... I dunno. 7am? Whenever you need to wake up during school. And force yourself to get out of bed. Even if all you do is sit around on Ls1.com, just get out of bed and don't fall asleep again.

    Then by the time 11pm comes around you be dying to lay down and go to sleep.

    Do that for 2 or 3 weeks and it'll become standard.

    Also what Luos said.

    I know I already started getting up at like 8am. I have been sleeping at like 2/3 am every day and need to stop.

    Sadly this works.

    I used to go to work from 3pm to 11pm, play WoW from 11pm to 5am, and sleep from 5am to 2pm when I woke up/showered for work.

    I'm now up at 5am, at work by 6am, leave work at 2pm and in bed by 9pm...this post is late for me

    The fear of being late for my new job got me to change my schedule.

    People find me weird when I tell them the same. I function the best with about 6.5-7hrs of sleep.

    Yeah it's been proven that oversleeping actually has detrimental health effects compared to sleeping the correct amount of time, there was a study on it a few years ago.

    I get migraines if I sleep too much or stop caffeine.. Though my average 4 hours of sleep on school nights isn't good either

    Go out with friends, just sit around and hang out.

    Me and a few friends turn wrenches on the side and saved this limo driver 2k on an A/C repair job and scored a free limo ride. We 'hired' him out and had him pick us up and take us to Cheddars for dinner one evening. He joined us in the restraunt for the dinner portion and laughed along with us as we made the newbie 21 year olds do Jaggerbomb shots. We would have had more fun if out waiter wasn't a douche. He was a one-upper, always having a story just a bit bigger than yours and just wouldn't close his pie-hole.


    We had a blast. No one got hammered-drunk and we got to see each othre once more before school starts. (wednesday)
