getting my T/A dyno tuned tomarrow
Taking my WS6 in tomarrow to dyno tune it. I tapped a 349 with slp cold air kit, bellow, lid, slp maf, tune, corsa cat back two years ago. I now have the powerdyne s/c at 6psi, qtp long tubes with true duals, 160 thermostat, msd 8.5s, ngk plugs and I think thats it. I'm looking forward to it,we have the hptuners program so I hope everything goes well... I will post the numbers when I get home, Anybody wanna guess? I'm hoping for 425.

I've seen the gauge hit 5psi. I really haven't got on it yet, we tuned it last week so it was drivable, but still more ponies somewhere in there. Worst case I have a nx wet kit sitting in my game room with the heater, purge valve, and the rest of the fixins. So I'm hoping 550 is attainable. I can feel the difference tho.

What would you like pics of? A blown motor? Has it ever happened to you? I don't know what the worst part was, the motor going or knowing I still had to pay for the f ing dyno. Hell bent a rod in my truck last week. So now I'm down to my winter beater. The guy tuning it was a JOE with a tuner and a lap top. Sucks he said he knew what he was doing. well 7 pounds of boost and a screwed up motor is what I have left. I don't have pics of any of the tune. My brother was watching the screen we did 2 all out runs it hit 561 in torque and another at 550 or so. You ever just wanna scream?

Sucks about the motor for sure.
The one good thing...time for more.
Concerning the torque number....is your car a stalled auto?
Sounds like maybe it ran outta fuel?? Any idea why it popped?

It's a 6 speed. Why it hit so hi I don't really know. bad dyno numbers? It sounded like valve train, not a rod or piston, the drivers side valve cover gasket blew out. it smoked didn't smell like gas, antifreeze, or electrical there is nothing in the oil as far as gas or antifreeze. It popped backfire like maybe pushrods or rocker, jumped time, haven't tore into it yet. It's not leaking anywhere. I went to start it to pull it off the dyno and it popped hard and smoked some more

Odd.
Keep us up to date when you tear into it.
