    Full Coverage

I am thinking about getting Full Coverage on the 80 T/A, I should be picking it up tomorrow. But I am just unsure how a family insurance company would handle a classic car like this. I plain to call them tomorrow and ask them if the car was totaled, how would they determine the value. Fast quote through Allstate, there the cheapest.

Some of them you have to be at least 25. I use to have my 63 Falcon under collector car insurance, but forget who and don't drive the thing at all. Also the T/A will be a daily, do I have to tell them the engine be changed out for a 6.6L?

I just checked them, but can't use them on the T/A since it will be a daily. If it was not for that, I would. $718 a year for both, probably will get them for the Falcon none the less. With a declared value of $15,000 each.

I'm not sure of the age thing but usually insurance companies are more that willing to accept your money but .... with that being said its worth a look . and yes as i recall they ask if its been modified or stock but i believe this more aimed at the value of the car

I was more or less, if I go with a family insurance, should I tell them it has a bigger engine? I don't see a reason why.

I know here in NJ, if you have collector's insurance, you are only allowed a certain amount of miles per year.

Same thing when I had my Falcon insured, it was only allowed 3,000 miles a year and haves to be garaged kept. That's find because I don't put near that many miles a year on it, and it's in a garage... Not at the moment though, due to projects. But will be in there, by the end of the year.

I had to take the Falcon in once a year to check if it's been rolled back for insurance purposes.

IDK, I am probably going to at least put insurance on it with a declared value of lets say $20,000. I don't drive it much but, but insurance is cheap and crime is on the rise in my area.

Edit: The 63 Falcon. Still need to figure out about the T/A...
