Full Coverage
I am thinking about getting Full Coverage on the 80 T/A, I should be picking it up tomorrow. But I am just unsure how a family insurance company would handle a classic car like this. I plain to call them tomorrow and ask them if the car was totaled, how would they determine the value. Fast quote through Allstate, there the cheapest.

I'm not sure of the age thing but usually insurance companies are more that willing to accept your money but .... with that being said its worth a look . and yes as i recall they ask if its been modified or stock but i believe this more aimed at the value of the car

I was more or less, if I go with a family insurance, should I tell them it has a bigger engine? I don't see a reason why.

I know here in NJ, if you have collector's insurance, you are only allowed a certain amount of miles per year.

Same thing when I had my Falcon insured, it was only allowed 3,000 miles a year and haves to be garaged kept. That's find because I don't put near that many miles a year on it, and it's in a garage... Not at the moment though, due to projects. But will be in there, by the end of the year.
