    Flowmaster vs Glasspacks

I currently have pacesetter LTs with an X-pipe 2.5 inch with 2 flowmaster single chambers dumped before the axel.
I love the sound but it sits too low, to avoid scarping the ground I might take out the flow masters and put glasspacks.
Do you guys think it would sound good on an lt1? would it be raspy?

should sound fine.. about the same as any true dual and bullet setup, tone should just be a lil deeper if my train of thought is right

Call me ignorant... but what are glass packs? I remember my brother talking about them for his truck in the 80s when I was a little guy, but I don't know what they do or how they work.

I also have flowmaster 1 chambers dumped and I can't wait to put those bitches out the back. I'll take a pic of the ding, dents, scrapes, etc if I ever stop working OT.

Friend of mine has dynomax bullets in his tailpipes and it is loud as shit (though not as loud as myy exhust) and it does sound good. but it's kinda got a little rasp to it...

If its the cheap glasspacks they sound ok but dont flow very well since they neck down inside and have those little louver things sticking down in the flow of the exhaust. Get the versions that are straight through and have the same size inner diameter as the rest of the pipe. Got mine at ADvance Auto for about 30-40 a peice. Sounds real good on my 73 C10 and arent raspy, almost as deep as a Flowmaster sounds. Im not sure but I think its a flowtech brand. The Cherry Bomb red ones are the crappy cheapos.
