So, multiply that speed by almost 3x and then add in the fact of falling on hard pavement instead of softer dirt = dead.

Looked like the weld at the head tube snapped. He's lucky not to have been paralyzed. I've seen broken collar bones and ribs at the track. BMX track, and obviously at far far lesser speeds. Very lucky guy.
