fast meal recipes
how do you turn a box of mac n cheese into a full meal? simple...add shit to it. my favorite things to add are peas and tuna fish. you could easily substitute cut chicken breast instead of tuna fish. i usually will make a box and take it to school with me for a quick relatively filling (and pretty damn cheap) lunch.
what is your favorite quick, easy, cheap thing to make for lunch/dinner?

ramen noodles, those are 10 pkg for a buck can't get cheaper than that.
or the banquit pot pies, you can microwave them now. they are about a dollar a piece.
PW(pre wife) thats all I would eat, pot pies and ramen noodles. I was on the go too much to sit and make a big meal. Guess that is why I went from 270ish to 200 in less than 3 months. but AW( you guessed it, after wife) she made me buy real groceries, and cooked, and nothing to do up here that intrests me i gained it back.....damnit time for my diet plan againLast edited by cuervo25_1; 11-11-2009 at 07:39 PM.

Peanut butter sammich
cold cuts & cheese sammich
ramen noodles
55cent microwave burrito
bagel & cream cheese
Can of tuna mix in a bowl with some mayonnaise
Oatmeal
I also cook brown rice in bulk and keep in it the fridge so I can just put some in a bowl, add some canned chicken, and bbq sauce, mix it up and there you go.
Everything is easy in college.

I'm naturally skinny.
I started working out and over the course of 2 years I gained almost 40lbs, lean.
Then I started playing WoW more seriously, stopped working out, started drinking 6 sodas a day, and lost almost all of that hard earned weight in a matter of months.

Egg Noodles, Peas, Tuna, Cream of Mushroom soup. Wallah, tuna casserole!
Only thing I put in mac n cheese is hot dogs, cause that shits the bomb.
I am a picky eater though, so quick meals are hard for me. I hate pot pies because the crust is nasty, I eat the middle of the pie out. Cold cuts and bakery buns with some nice chips are what I fall back on.

If you have easy access to a stove, you can make quesadilla pretty easily. Just take tortilla shells and fill with cheese (any kind will work but I'm partial to Mexican Blend shredded.) Put some olive oil in a pan, heat up and serve. You can add whatever else you want in there as well, chicken, ground beef, onions, diced tomatos, etc. With prep time, this should take you about 15 minutes.
Another easy snack is garlic bread. Just toast some white bread. When done, put some garlic salt and butter on it. Maybe add some cheese if you feel daring enough.
I used to make these a couple of times a week when I was broke and living in my apartment!

i make these all the time except i actually have a quesadilla maker. you just put one shell down, put on your mexican blen cheese and chicken then put the top shell on and close the lid. when done i put sour cream and salsa on it... mmmmm.. like a mexican pizza! i have a coke and southern comfort with it most of the time.

Silver- 2005 Toyota Corolla (DD)
M&C Casarolle
Make box of M&C, use double the milk
Mix with 1 can shredded chicken (or tuna), 1 can condensed mushroom soup, add veggies like brocolli as desired. Bake in oven at 350* for about 20-25 minutes to warm it all up.
Super quick meal: "Turkey Roll Ups"
Make stove top stuffing.
Get turkey breast lunch meat cut extra thick. Spread stuffing on lunch meat and roll it up, secure w/ toothpick. Top with paprika for color and put in oven to warm up the lunch meat.
Poor person's thanksgiving dinner, lol. My 3 year old LOVES it.
