Same here.
Fan going year round. Most nights it needs to be on me even in the winter. Julie is tiny and gets cold quickly. So she keeps the house warmer than most.

The one thing I cant stand is light. I gotta have closed curtains, put a hat over the clock radio, and duct tape over the VCR.

I use to be the same way when i worked nights 11:30pm to 8:00am. I bet i got you beat, i went as far as to get car window tint and tinted my bedroom windows. I put atleast 3 layers of 5% on and i also use to tack up blankes over the windows as well as roll up a blanket and place it at the bottom of the bedroom door to keep the light out.. I sure as hell dont miss thoes days

Plus, it makes for great white background noise to keep the kid sleeping soundly.

ditto. sometimes the sound of "nothing" is louder than running a fan.

the noise helps me to sleep and being cold at night is more comfortable, but as you can tell from the time i'm postin this nothing can help sometimes lol
