Factory Freaks DO Exists
Got my stock LT1 on the dyno (cept for the true duels)
287RWHP along with 327 Ft lbs of Torque.
These are my before numbers, aiming to get atleast 450RWHP after doing the 383 stroker, cam, and heads

Well after I thought about it, it shouldnt of suprised me at all.
I have taken a few cars before which I never thought I would.
I have beaten some LS1s before but I figured they just sucked at driving and kept up with an ls2 gto which had a few bolt ons again I thought he sucked at driving as well.

Nice numbers...do you have headers with your true duals?

With a true dual exhaust the ET and mph sounds about right. With headers and cat back I went 13.5 at 101 in my 1994 which was otherwise stock. My 1/8 mile splits were 8.62 at 82mph.... So the your gain would be at the top end which is consistent with slightly better exhaust flow. What do you mean factory freak?

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Factory freak = a car that runs much better than average or post's dyno numbers above average. My 96 LT1 car posted ony 240 rwhp but 330rwt which made my car about average on hp but above avg for torque. JwMonE99's car is above average in both categories. My bone stock 96 Z28 vert posted a best 14.2@100. His is much faster.
As a drag racer I'm sure you've seen some engines turn out better than what you'd expect. Same thing happens with factory engines. Sometimes during the assembly process the parts with the closest to a blue printed assembly gets put together. Voila! Factory freak.

Green- 94 Camaro 3.4
My cobalt SS was an FF... I never ran into another stock one that could hang with me, and it ran dead even with a "stage one" cobalt SS... I could beat SRT4s and 350Zs... and nobody every fuckin believed me because a balt isnt supposed to be able to do that stock...
So yea, they do exist, but mine was the only one I ever have run into personally.

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
A friend of mine dynoed his '97 LT1 Z28 when it was bone stock and over 100k miles. He dynoed 290 stock and 310 with headers. Freaks are definitely out there.

No I have no headers yet. I am getting some hooker long tube headers this week, and i am going to go with true duels again and get some supertrap mufflers along with aluminum drive shaft.
I also recentyl put in UMI subframe connectors. BMR panhand bar and lower control arms. And a TA gridle

Yes, I have seen race motors run much better than expected, but not factory motors as shipped in a regular car. A buddy of mine went 11.5 at 120 in a stock 2003 Z06 and people were saying he had a factory freak, but the difference was simply the driver and good air...
I was understanding there was true dual exhaust on the car but from the OP's last post there is not? In his first post he said (except for true duals...)... With true duals his numbers are right in line with normal although I cannot speak about dyno numbers as dynos generally vary too much for accurate comparison. Dyno numbers are like weatherstations, they are great for a baseline and quantifying results as long as the data is measured on the same instrument. Even a tire pressure gauge is only accurate to itself. My gauge may read 14 pounds and the next one 14.5 and the next one 13.5..... And it doesn't really matter what the number is until I decide I need to change the tire pressure by 1/2 pound and in that case I need my gauge as that is the only way I can be certain of making the correct amount of variance.
