Car enthusiasts need place to meet

If two clean muscle-style cars are parked somewhere with their owners talking, it doesn't always mean they are up to no good. There are many car enthusiasts in the local area who work six days a week at odd shifts and aren't able to participate in daylight events. Enthusiasts need a place where they won't get shooed away by the local police department, even though it is the officer's job and responsibility to do so.

There are quite a few people who do have fast, clean cars that respect the law and take it to the race track instead of committing illegal activities on the street. A place needs to be designated where people can share ideas and hang out. A place where they aren't automatically going to be chased out because it's 1 a.m. and they are automatically "up to no good."

Remember not everyone is the stereotypical "Fast and the Furious" street racer. At the very least it is hurting the economy because those car owners will buy food, gasoline and other items while they are cruising.
