The F-body Gods were with us...
So after getting a PM on Fquick about an Eastern PA meet I decided I would go check it out.
Turns out the guy who set it up doesnt have an F-body at all but his dream car is a 10th Anniversary Firehawk. He was a really nice guy and is trying to get a firehawk thats for sale and hopes to get it soon.
After meeting at the mall in Wilkes-Barre, Pa the 7 cars that met cruised down to the lake near by and drove around the shoreline drive that goes around the lake. We all stopped at the Grotto Pizza and ate.
I took some pics and was amazed when I realized the set up of cars that we didnt even intend on doing.
Notice the pattern!!!
Its crazy how we didnt even plan it.

The meet was 110 miles from philly... about an hour and a half drive. That was a bit of a stretch but well worth it. It was the first meet up there but definitely wont be the last. Hopefully were gonna have it twice a year or so.
On a side note I live 45min out of philly in Chester County. Where are you at? Any meets around I will post up in the Eastern section. It would be awesome if you could come out. This is the next and maybe last fall local one... http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98312

I really wish Derek nhra firebird was here this week, I have a great joke about the time he asked me to meet him at the truck stop for our own little "fbody g2g".

I was debating going as well. Maybe next year.
Saratoga was so much fun though. Just me and 01ws6er drove the 300mile 5 1/2 hour drive up but it was a blast. After round trip and cruising while up there the total ended up being around 800 miles in 2 days. Well worth it.

I have no doubt that Slowass would make a drive no problems.
The hard part is forking over the gas money.
Does great on the highway for what it is, but still....
I have been hoping to make it down to Texas for a while now, but shit always seems to work against me. I want to see if I can get a 10 second pass at sea level.
