extreme view
just bought an extreme view satellite with dual lnbs the problem is do i hook both wires up and then run them into the splitter im totally confused please help

A little more detail. Did you get some sort of "splitter" or 4-1 switch with your purchase? What kind of receiver are you using with the system? Are you using it for FTA?

I assume you have 2 dual lnb's on the dish, i.e. 2 lnb's that each have 2 cable connections. If you have just the one receiver, you use only 1 connector from each lnb. These 2 cables then connect to 2 of the 4 ports on the 4-1 switch. Those 4 ports should be numbered 1 thru 4. Then a single cable from the remaining (not the numbered ones) port on the switch to the receiver. Once all connected, you need to configure the receiver, somewhere in the installation menus, to match your connection layout.
