Experiance with falken tires?
Falken ziex 502
275/40/17, I got a sweet deal on 2 practically new ones for 70 bucks. So I don't care how good they hook but just out of curiosity? Anyone use them?

I think the wear is shitty, but you cant go wrong for that price at all.

Yea 300, but then again I get new tires every year so idc about wear ahaha. The tires I have on the rear now are bald, and badly dry rotted bfg gforces. They came with my firehawk wheels so I just need ANY tires to throw on them. Figured id try these hah

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
I have them on my 02 as driver tires. Air them up to 45 on the front and they offer little in the way of rolling resistance. Of course they don't hook for shit, but they were fairly inexpensive. I'm waiting to put M/T's ET Drags on the back (they're on back order).
Cliff Notes: Good driver tires. Bad drag tires (on the back).

Black/Screaming Yellow- 99 S/C TA WS6 & 04 Cobra
My Mustang came with Falkens on it. They suck horribly for traction but are not to bad for dd'ing.

For $70, I would put them on and melt them to shit with a power brake burn out from hell! It would be worth it!

Silver- 2005 Toyota Corolla (DD)
I had 4 on the mustang and eventually replaced the rears with Nitto DRs. They wear fine, IMO, and are good tires for the price.

'98 Black Gone :(- 01 WS6 Midnight Blue
we had them on 10.5 x 18 wheels it was a 275/40/18 i think... and they were fine. gripped the road well, they werent on the car long enough to see how well they wore... but for the time i had experience with them they were fine, and u really cant beat the price, epsecially when u start getting into the 18 sizes

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
I used to buy Fuzion ZRi's a long time ago-they hold up really really well as a DD tire but don't hook for shit in racing apps.

I had FK452's up until about 3 weeks ago. They didn't hook at all. They wore out in a year but, that is mostly due to me burning rubber.
The stock Conties were better than the Falkens in terms of hooking.
I switched to Nitto 555s 3 weeks ago but, I don't plan on racing or burning out anymore. Too expensive....lol.
But, for the price you paid, why not have some fun with them.

Packy, I'll trade you some Disney tickets for your Cobra. I know, I'm too gracious. To make the deal even better I'll make them park hopper passes, plus Universal tickets, plus Sea World, and to add to the deal I'll give you all access passes to Discovery Cove! Where you too can swim with Dolphins. All for your Cobra.
