Euro Trip in the TA
The wife and I flew her dad out from Cali, and took a little trip from our place in Germany over to see Gen Patton's grave, among many others, at the American Cemetery in Luxembourg. Thought you all might like to see a few pics of the trip.

Outside our house right before we left.
Yes, it goes faster, but, "Why?" I can do this legally!
Crossing the border into Luxembourg, and what's the first thing you see? PIZZA HUT!! We have officially bastardized the entire world!
Which one of these is not like the other?
The American Cemetery in the background.

I used to live in Lux. One of the most beautiful places I've ever been. I saw Gen Patton's memorial and read something saying he died there, but then read later he died in a car accident here in the U.S.
Man, I wish I could've had my car over there. Got any more pics, I miss it.

Got a lot more pics...shoot me a pm w/ your email addy, and I'll send them to you. And Gen. Patton died in Luxembourg after the war ended, in a car wreck. His family wanted him sent home, but the US didn't send any of the "regular" soldiers home, so they refused to send him home, as well. That's why he's buried here in Europe.

I moved out here in January. The car showed up in mid-February, but this is the first time I've taken the car out of "little-America" here in Kaiserslautern area. Generally, it just sits under a cover. However, it get all kinds of looks from ppl when I do get away from here.

You really need to make a trip to Sweden during summer. Visit Big power meet in Västerås. 8-9-10 of July 2010 thousands american cars gathered. 40-50-60-70-80-90s ,hot rods, street machines, muscle cars, new cars -you name it.
People from around the world visit this big car meet. The crusing is fenomenal! And you will see the beauty of northern part of europe(best part of europe).

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that you can find more rare/better kept Muscle cars here in Europe than in the US. I have been amazed by some of the types of old cars I have seen since living in the Netherlands.

Yup. I've got over 12 years in, and this is my second tour in Europe. My first over the Atlantic was in England.
