sold something for $180, paypal charged me $8.40 to accept the charge. then ebay charge me almost $7. sorry, but to take almost 10% of your sale price is just no good for me. I won't be using them again. I'll go onto craigslist from now on.

this is why people over charge for shipping. So at least it covers the commition costs.

Once in a blue moon I would sell a DVD on Ebay. I charge $4 for shipping....some people think its too much.

well lets see. Lets say I sell something for $10

Media Mail: $1.59
Envelope: $.99
Paypal Com: $.70
Ebay Com: $.40

Thats $3.68 right there.

Now 80% of other Sellers would charge anywhere from $5-$7 for a Fucking Shipping on DVD. Some are Rip-offs.

If it's stated in the auction that shipping is a flat fee of X amount and you still bid on it, well, then I assume that you've agreed that X amount is reasonable enough.
