    E-bay problem(blowing off steam)

    Hey guys,
I bought 2 things on e-bay, a set of horns and a front bumper support with the foam. The description on the horns said they came off a 20k Camaro and worked great. The bumper support guy said the bar and foam were in excellent condition. I installed the horns and they didn't work. The bumper support arrived at my door with the foam almost destroyed and the ears on the support were bent. The guy with the horns said he would refund my money and half of the shipping and wants me to pay to ship them back. The bumper support guy is trying to get a settlement from UPS and wants me to wait for a refund until he settles his dispute. Are these people fucked in the head? These transactions should not cost me a dime or 5 minutes of my time. It's not like I changed my mind and don't want the stuff or I misread the description, this stuff arrived at my door in a way other than described in the listing. What do you guys think? Am I being too much of a dick or should I drive across the country and throw this shit through there front window.

Assuming you paid thru PayPal, file a complaint with them. I had a problem with an ebay purchase and I filed a complaint. They did a research and refunded my money within two days.

Did they ship the stuff insured? Did you ask them to, or pay to have it shipped that way? Hard to prove that the stuff wasn't perfect when it left, and arrived damaged- they may be stand-up guys, or not- tough to tell-

I did file with pay-pal. He replied and said in the description it says shipping will not be refunded for any reason. So I guess the guy with the bumper is going to refund the item amount but if he thinks I'm shipping it back before the refund he's nuttier than monkey shit.
