Warrnambool funeral burnout hoon cars seized



TWO vehicles were impounded after a Warrnambool funeral when some mourners started doing burnouts.

Police are seeking witnesses after 10 or 12 cars started the hoon driving in the Bostock St cemetery and surrounding areas yesterday.

The confiscated cars - two white Holden Commodores - have been impounded for 48 hours and a Warrnambool man, 18, is expected to be charged with traffic-related offences.

Police have identified several other vehicles believed to be involved and will carry out further enquiries today.

However, they appealed for anyone who witnessed the erratic driving in the cemetery or surrounding area to contact police.
