does anyone know the conversion from 1/8th to 1/4

does anyone have a calculator program that does it. the gps dyno is saying 12.5 is what I was doing before this weekend, but it doesn't give much other info worth a shit. does anyone have a way to convert 1/8th to 1/4?

    1.7 60'
    8.36 1/8th
    87mph

what would that be in the quarter?

Your 60' is pretty good. For comparison I dug up some old slips from my WS.6 and one was a 8.57 @ 83 which was 13.25 @ 107 in the 1/4 with a 1.98 short time.

another good rule of thumb is if you can shave one tenth off of your '60 foot time, it's worth 1.5 tenths on the big end.

i can't run that 60' with my current tires. I did that on one of my friend's drag radials. I didn't have anything but bolt ons then. I have done a ton since then. on street tires I can only get a 8.7 with a 2.2 60'

i believe that it is your 1/8th mile time multiplied by either 1.52 or 1.57. that is just an estimate though. i know guess who run a really low gear and there cars are wound out at the 1/8th so it is just an average
