Do you guys think this is a good deal for an fz6?
I'm considering buying a fz6 from a local car dealer, it has a few scratches and a broken mirror from what looks like a tip over, it's a silver and black 04, other than that everthing else looks great, what else do I need to look for? He's asking $2699 is that a good deal?

look at how many miles. bikes go away for almost nothing nowadays on the used market specially based on miles. the resale value on a bike is shit and they have a really fast turnover rate for a variety of reasons. the broken mirror could have jus been a car salesman being a dufus and dropping it. otherwise id say thats a pretty nice deal. jus ride it first.

Black- '05 Ninja ZX-10R
A few places selling used bikes let you take it for a test ride. Ask to try it. BTW, first bike? You do have to be watching out for other drivers all the time. Expect them to do something dumb, and plan an escape route.

the fz6 is a nice bike because its loosely based on the r6 but not as brutal and aggressive. so with the upright position its a comfy bike and very useable. the power delivery isnt as strong as the r6 but it still has more power then most riders will ever need or can really use on the street. everyone thinks they need a sportbike that runs 9s for the their first ride so they can look badass. most people dont realize the difference of speed in a car versus a bike.
