Digital Cameras

I'm thinking it's about time I upgraded my Digital Camera.
I'm still using the Kodak EasyShare CX6230. 2.0 MP with a SanDisk 256mb external storage.

It still performs flawlessly, takes great pix and the EasyShare 6000 docking station works like a charm.

I thought I'd get some opinions based on what everyone is using before I made the investment.

Sonys are good.

Have not researched camera's in a while though.

Isn't 9.0 megapixals available now?

I've got a Sony DSC-W70, it is 7.2 MP 3x zoom, very nice camera!!! I got it almost a year ago & has been a great camera! My brother just got a Cannon 7.1 MP on Fri & it is very nice, has less lag time, quicker shots than my Sony has, but both very good camera! Also got a 2 GB card for it, will hold ton's of pics!

6MP is great.

How much are you looking to spend? that will really be important.

the previous two mentioned are also outstanding camera's.

My Kodac is the 5 mp and a 10x zoom .... It also takes great pics ... If I upgrade to anything it wil be a digital Rebal

Well I was thinking 5mp but now with all these big rollers here happy with the big MP's ... I have to ask how much did you guys spend ...

right at $300 but I got the charger station too...

I also have the little video , but have never used it ... The little dock thing is great .. but I have had it for 2 years now .. and you know how electronic stuff takes a nose dive in price as soon as something new is discovered ...
