ls2 is a 6.0, ls6 is a 5.7, ls7 is a 427. the ls7 is dry sump. the ls6 is basically a massaged ls1 with a differet block. the ls2 is a different block with some revisions and ls6 based cylinder heads. very similar is power to an ls6 but the ls2 has a lil more torque and the ls6 has a lil more top end. the ls7 is a total monster stock. has cnc heads stock. its gms crowning achievement to date in terms of stock powertrains.

I found that the ls6 has better intake, titanium exhaust, bigger "windows" for oil to flow threw, and a dry sump oil pump as well.
just elaborating on the previous notes

the oil pump in the ls6 wasnt dry sump. the ls7 is the first engine in a late model vette to use a dry sump.

LS1 and LS6 there was no massaging done on the blocks, just some modifications done to the back of the block to allow for better oil flow.....but the LS1 and LS6 heads, cam, oil pump and intake are slightly different. But all the blocks are pretty much based off the same design
