Pffft, it won't delay them by nearly as much as they are talking in there... There is no reason they couldn't switch to a different tool company and start getting the parts in a week or 2.

Nah, GM would shut down Dodge, merge Chrysler into Cadillac, and Jeep into Hummer, assuming they can't find a buyer for Hummer.

well, Hummer and Jeep merged out of the same group, so i could see it going back together. but i'm not sold on the idea that GM and Chrysler do a North American merge, i bet it's a merge in other countries where they produce vehicles.

GM is a world wide company, but Chrysler is almost entirely in North America.

good point there. now that i think about it, that was a blind statement on my part. in which point, Chrysler may be looking to invest in a oversea's market with GM....or, GM and Chrysler may combine Hummer/Jeep, a single dealership could be set up, both vehicles made out of the same plant, which could cut cost for both companies. just an idea.

...that car would be as superior as the Cadillac 16 and Oldsmobile Aerotech.....the Vipervette, Vipette or whatever....sounds kind of exotic.
