It seems like rubbing the ice on it like that would scratch the clear.
I dunno, maybe not. I think it would still work though if you just put pressure on it instead of rubbing it around?

I don't know about this one. This may be BS, but you could try it, just be careful! If you look around you will find places to get some dry ice.
Black 02 Trans Am WS6 M6 SLP Lid, Bassani Stainless Headers & Y-Pipe w/o Cats, Borla Exhaust, BMR-STB, LCAs & Reloc. Brackets, Panhard Bar, & SFCs, Eibach Pro-kit With Bilsteins, BF Goodrich G Force KDWs, Optima Yellow Top, 5% Tint, Blackouts, Clear Side Lights, H-7 Headlights much more to come!

Shit man Ill try it. Im getting new paint soon so I really dont care. I got my sleak beak on right now because my Ram Air hood is fried. The previous owner used it sleeding.. Its got plenty of dents... BUT if its contracting thst much what is it doing to the paint? ive got about 6 or 7 creases and one dent from where the DAPO dinged a gas nozzle into the door.
Ill call around when I get a chance and see if I can pick up some ice

It werks. Auto auctions have been doing it for years. You don't actually touch the surface you just get real close to it.
I know it sounds like a crock but it does work.

I read it only works on steel panels, not aluminum. http://www.vintageairstream.com/rr_topics_dents.html

I dont personally have videos. I think I saw it on You tube if I remember correctly the guy started by heating the panel first with a hair dryer.

That idea has been around for a long long long time. I've never personally done it, but know people who have and it works.

Dont do it, I have been doing PDR for 5 years now. This will cause many problems, such as warpage and waves. I have done it and it does not work. I REPEAT DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!!!.

This guy is an f-ing idiot. I spent thousands of dollars on my tools. Dry ice causes severe damage. It can work on very smal dents and be effective, but you have to know what you are doing. This is very dangerous for a novice of PDR. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS IDIOTS ADVICE. HE NEEDS TO GO TO SCHOOL AT THE DING KING. HE WOULD FIND THAT THEY URGE YOU TO NEVER USE DRY ICE!
