    Question Decent laptops for around $500?

    I don't need anything for gaming or anything like that. Just for use surfing the web and running your normal programs like MS Office etc.

    Nothing obsolete though.

    You will have to settle for obsolete even on Ebay ... but Ebay does have damn good deals on stuff not too obsolete ... even I'm thinking about getting one in this price range ...
