Dad just bought a turd gen..

Don't ask me why, but my dad's been wanting a third gen Camaro for awhile. Called me today and told me he pulled the trigger on this..

Clutch isn't adjusted right, interior is in fair shape for it's age, A/C isn't cold, paint is meh. Runs as good as a '92 with a 305 can run.

Got it for $1200.

Nothing wrong with 3rd gens IMO... Heck I would like to own a 1st,2nd,3rd to add to the 4th I have. 5th gen would be great to add also.. Then again I like all camaro's.. Just a camaro fan here...

Does that one have the TPI or the TBI? I had a 91RS, 305 with the TBI and that car wouldn't get out of it's own way. I liked it tho..

the '92 type spoiler doesn't normally have the other spoiler too right?

Didn't ask and havnt looked at it in person yet. I'd guess TPI though just because my dad said it actually feels pretty quick for what it is. (Coming from a guy who drag races with a 500 rwhp Comet GT)

Nope. I don't think the RS came with the Z hood either.

Sharp car, IMO. I still love the fact that for the 98 year production run, chevy must've had a stock-pile of these wheels around, 'cause they put 'em on the s-10's w/ the ZQ8 (or was it 9) package...just had a different center cap!

I like it.

For $1200, I like it alot!

Looks like a 5-speed, TPI 305 z28. With dual-cat exhaust, it was pretty quick in '92.

Hmmm... I don't think they made'm. Something about torque or emissions guidelines.

Yes they made five speed 305 tpi cars. The tpi 350 was only backed by a 700r4

Ditto. I thought only the Z28 had that hood and spoiler. In which case they usually had the L98.

Its a RS 305 TBI with a T5. Firebird seats. Z28 hood and a Z28 spoiler. Goofball didn't remove the RS spoiler when he put the Z28 on.

Also was a very very base model car. Seems to be the only option it got was the 305.

No T-tops. Base interior (tell by the embedded door panels), Manual windows and T5
