custom made parts
I saw in the other forum where that dude was offering to make and sell custom shifter knobs.
Inspired me to show off some of the different things I've made
Like this Titanium Maltese Cross that I have bolted to my Col. Clink helmet.
I used a CNC wire EDM machine to cut this out of a piece of scrap Ti, then I threaded the post, polished the snot out of it, then taped it off and glass beaded the perimeter.
I'm not trying to sell any of this stuff, just sharing pictures
like the current shifter linkage I have on my Harley, I've probably made five or six different ones for this bike, but this one seems to get the most road time.
It' Titanium too. took like 20 minutes to machine it and 3 hours for me to polish it to this luster
I made these custom swing arm stands for my Ninja, and the buttons that are bolted to the swing arm.
howz about some aluminum frame sliders?
these supposedly will protect the expensive plastic parts IF the bike falls over, I got paranoid about this aluminum digging into the pavement should an accident ever happen, I don't keep these on the bike
goofed around for about a half hour and made these stubby aluminum/delrin
I don't like 'em
I'm a toolmaker, I can make anything
I currently have these white delrin frame sliders on the green bike, I also had some lime green delrin laying around - made these filler plates for some custom LED turn signals
flag holder - these things cost $50 purchased, I made this from a chunk of scrap aluminum
simple - didn't even spend 1/2 hour making this thing. . .And no - the flag and it's mount are only installed for parade type events, I don't cruise around with the flag. . .I was going to hang the flag upside down, to represent to turmoil we're in, but my lovely wife said it would be "dis-respectful" I Say It's Disrespectful the way this country is being raped of it's lively hood

Very neat, nice work. Have you ever thought about making like custom exhaust tips? I can never find any that I like for my ws6, nor would I want something that has been mass produced.

Please tell me you don't wear that colonel klink helmet riding your bikes. That thing is going to be about as worthless as a cow in space if you ever have a real accident. No matter how good of a driver you are, other people still suck.
