I heard about that a couple of months ago, just another wrench in the program.
I also heard that they could use a corn-based ethanol blend by 2011

Cant hurt it, NASCAR has been on the downfall for quite some time now.

Burple- 1966 427 Cobra Replica
I won't get into the whole "stock" car part of stock-car-racing but nobody's made a DOT approved car fueled by a carb in what, two decades?
Was the Jeep Grand Wagoneer in 1991 the last one?

OK as far as the Stock part .. It referes to STOCK apearing .. as in not a Indy car, not a Sprint car .. not a car like a Modified car ...
And like I have said before it is time for the CUP cars to get off the fence and get up to date in tech and other parts of their racing ...

NASCAR needs to quit regulating everything and let the teams race. Anything goes as long as the safety equipment is up to snuff.
Hell I wouldn't be surprised if the driver's have to use a certain toilet paper or face a fine.

Gives the pansy drivers one less excuse, or way to pass the blame to mechanics.

Oh, I thought they were fiberglass for some reason. No rpm and gearing limits would be interesting. Spin it too fast to make power and it might just pop in a 500 mile race running closed windows and reverting to spoilers would be interesting aswell

adding right hand turns and reducing the number of laps would certainly get my vote for making it more appealing. there's few things i can stand less than five-hundred-friggin-miles...of rednecks chasing each other in left hand only turns.
