College Students and Alum
I have ran into numerous college kids during my time on the forum and I always find myself wondering where people go/went. In order to make this easy, I figured why not start a thread about where you go/went to school.
I am a senior at Indiana University. Yes our football team sucks and I have been here for the worst period of basketball in IU history.

I went to Purdue for my BA in Mechanical Engineering Technology and then went back in 2006 to the same school and completed my Master's in Business Administration. I graduated in December of 2009 with a 4.0. Pretty proud of that even though it hasn't done shit for me

True. After December of this year I'm free to leave without any payment back to the company I work for. I had to sign a 2 year work contract since they paid for my MBA. I think I'll start looking in the next few months to see what's out there. Problem is, I'm very comfortable where I work, get 1/2 days on Fridays, make a pretty great wage, and I've been working there since 2001 (right out of undergraduate school) so I've grown to get along with everyone quite well.

Currently a few credits short of being a junior at DeVry University. Going for my bachelor's in Network Communication and Management.
This "school" SUCKS! They don't give a shit about the students, just collecting the insane amount they charge per credit hour. Looking to transfer to Metro State here in a few months. Better reputation and about 35% of the cost.
Major will be in Computer Information Systems.

That's a great major. My good friend got his degree in that and is doing quite well for himself right now.

He started off with Walmart and flourished from there. I won't say what he makes, but I'm pretty certain he makes about as twice as much as I do so you can put that in perspective. Granted, he's been busting his ass for the last 10 years to get where he is...putting in long hours, working from home, etc...but now he works for Sears headquarters and is at a VP level. He is only 30 too. Man is a workaholic.

Oh yeah, that will make him change his outlook on things.
If I didn't have Sara, things would be a ton different.

Went to community college for a year to study computer programming. Teacher's first year teaching visual basic. It sucked. I didn't do well with my computer teachers and I loved technology etc, but preferred all my other classes over them. So I left.
Got a lot of technical credits with the military, probably really close to some kind of degree, but never bothered to finish.
Best part is, I could not be much happier than I am right now.
There's a few things I'd still like to do or try, but I'm still young.
