    We went on a whale watch out in Monterey and had them come up fairly close to the boat. That was a bit unnerving... even on the decent size boat we were on at the time.

    I have a large flat screen TV.....close enough for me. Your odds of ending up whale shark shit goes way down that way.

    Their throat isn't even big enough to swallow a person not to mention they don't even have teeth lol. Plus whale sharks are pretty docile. My point was there is nothing to be afraid of as far as whale sharks and alike whales. I won't go diving with a great white though lol.
