Do they make the chromed TTIIs in the correct offsets for the camaro? What size are you going to run on your car? If they are the correct size and I had the cash I would get the chromed.

A well polished wheel looks so very close to a chrome wheel....
Chrome can start to peel after time.
Polished requires a lot of upkeep. I polish mine at least once a year. And my car only gets about 3500-4000 miles a summer.

I'd say chrome but that's because i'm lazy...use a wheel cleaner that's meant for chrome and you'll be golden.

They don't make a fully chromed TT2 that i know of so I voted polished. The chrome TT2's only the spokes are chrome the lip is not. To me it was't worth the extra money for only haveing half the wheel chrome. If moneys not an issue by all means cause the lip is the easy part to polish its the spokes and all around the lugs/center cap that is a pain in the ass to polish.

I always just take mine off to polish.
Cover the coffee table with a towel and work on it there.

Yeah well use southern folks drive these cars all year. I usually give them a quick polish(the outside only) once a month. Then probably every 3 months I take them off and give them the full treatment inside and out. I've got a new polish and sealer called metal gloss that I really like. Some time soon I'm going to go all out and polish the hell out of them and then seal them. Hopefully it will only be a every 9-12 months that they will need it again.

so far www.tomzwheels.com is the cheapest $799 with lugs but didnt say if it was chrome or polished.....i am calling them in the morning for details...i did not know they were not fully chromed..thanks for the info
i wrecked my car and the insurance is replacing 2 factory 10 spoke alloy wheels at the price of $1150. I dont want 2 new wheels and 2 wheels 6 years old. so i decided to get something different. i like the TT2's best

For $799 thats proabably the polished which is still a great deal, I picked mine up for $900 to my door about 2 years ago which at the time was a good deal. You won't be disapointed with the TT2's on your car they look awesome on black f-bodies.
Its not the best pic but its a small taste of how good there gonna look.

Lets be honest here chrome is not just for bling.
Chrome is the best finish available for wheels. Hell even bicycles use chrome on the rims.
It is the best for maintenance, ease of cleaning off brake dust, toughest finish!
Chrome FTW!

Thanks for the compliments guys.
Chrome is great but I just don't think its worth the extra $100 a wheel in the torque thrust case. The the entire wheel was chrome then yes but all they do is chrome the spokes. Sorry but thats just not worth it to me. Now if rrgray8 you can get the insurance company to pay out $1150 for the wheels and maybe pay alittle out of pocket(you may not have to not sure on wha the total for the chorme ones would be) it may be worth going with the chrome ones.
