Chicken noodle soup....

Aside from homemade, who makes a good chicken noodle soup??

I have this campbell's chunky classic stuff, but it isn't that great. I have a cold and I love me some chicken noodle when I feel a little sick, so....

Any other decent foods that just seem to hit the spot when you have a cold?
Thinking I need to run out and pick up some ice cream....

Avoid the dairy products when you have a cold. They increase congestion.

As far as canned soups go, I like Progresso much better than Campbell's.

But you're never going to get GOOD soup out of a can.

One year when I was congested I took a big wiff of paint thinner one year, and my whole body just drained on the spot.

If congested, I do a shot of 151 straight. If I am sick, I go to wendy's and get their chilli because it fucking pwns.

Curtis, if you can stomach it, peal a medium size onion and eat it like an apple, washing down with a glass of water. I almost guarantee you will be over you cold in no time. Catch is no one will want you to talk to them for a day or so...

Otherwise make yourself chicken soup with good food. A couple of chopped chicken breasts, carrots, potato, turnip, celery, onion,(whatever vegies you like), packet of 2 min noodles, Chicken stock, 6 black pepper corns...

Put all chicken, vegies and pepper corns into a pot, cover with chicken stock, cover with lid and simmer for about an hour. Put noodles in for the final 5 mins. Serve.

As already said, avoid dairy mate.

Not big on dairy....but I have to have my ice cream (part yogurt at least).

Also, no one wants to talk to me anyways, so eating an onion may be an idea.

campbells chunky anything, ftw. progresso. Etc Something about soup always makes ya feel better. My friends mothers chicken matzo ball soup is otherwise known as jewish penicillin lol
