    Check your spare tire!

So I got a flat this morning on the way to work, and once I got the spare on and let the car off the jack, I realized the SPARE was flat too!

I ended up crawling down the breakdown lane with my flashers on till I could get to an exit where I knew there was a gas station where I could fill the tire. It seems to be okay now, it held air all day, although I'm sure driving a few miles on it flat wasn't good for it.

I had checked it as far as making sure it was there along with the jack when I bought the car, but I never checked the pressure or anything.

Just figured I'd post this, so I could maybe save somebody from a major inconvenience.

!Jack !Spare was the first thing I did to the car when I got it. Two days later I find myself staring at a flat tire 50 miles from home.

Screwdriver, large flatheaded screw, and a portable compressor for the win!

I'll have to dig my spare out of the shed and check the pressure in it.
