Shit like that you replace the unit man. Go aftermarket, the factory units are really expensive. Thats an internal issue and unless you know a radio repair man, you are basically sol. The repair of those factory radios is often more then what the new one costs too.

I hear you man, your right i have been thinking of doing that but i will lose all of my steering wheel controls extra features etc, Plus i will have to constantly lug around a cd face plate, because of possible theft. kinda of sick of that. But that might be my only choice, because the quotes i have been given have been way to high lol

You can still have steering wheel controls, if I am in a high crime area. I take the face plate off and lock it in the glove box.

I like Alpine... I say look for a budget, find the features you want. Then go on cruthfeild and pick the one you like based on reviews and looks.

They can be bought, yes. I'd have to look it up, but my is driving me crazzy about trying to bug someones phone... So need to hear her out and explain why I don't want to install the shit on my laptop.

Dude, CD changers are so '90s.

Get an iPod adapter and never look back.

Put your entire music collection on the ipod, set it to random play, and it's like a radio station that plays all your favorites with no commercials.

I still have a brand NIB changer that I bought years ago that I never installed because I got an iPod about the same time and decided to try it instead.

Now I have hookups in all my cars.
