Cash for clunkers list or cars scrapped
http://www.cars.gov/files/official-i...n-vehicles.pdf
Look at all the camaros, firebirds, vettes, trans am, etc... it's crazy that some of these cars were traded in for 3500. Even if it was 4500 and matched.

That's because folks are dumb and think they're saving money. LOL
Best way to save money is not to spend it in the first place. wink

There's also a 2007 Avalanche... So yea, also who the fuck C4C a GNX and a DB7?

I saw the gnx on there, theres a 2008 mustang, lots of 3000gt spyders compared to how many were made, and alot more. I also read that people who got 4500 have to pay so much come tax time, like 1350 of it. So you traded in a car say worth 3500 your actually losing money. Since the 1k added was less than what your paying. Man people are stupid!!!

I know guys it drives me crazy too. But not all folks think about thier cars, or other cars as we do. To most folks anymore they're just means of getting from here to there. I've also noticed in my area the younger crowd, tends to go with what is new. They think it makes them cool or is cool. Fewer people than ever are willing to work on a car. That's why there are hundreds more "quikie" oil change shops around than just ten years ago..

I wanted to use the 97 Acura 3.2L TL in for a trade, it has about 170,000 miles. This was when I was going to get a new car and make payments (ultimately decided against it). They would not accept the car, as it got to good on the gas. I tried to sell it for $1,000, no one wanted it... Mom wanted it, gave me $1,500 for it... What ever... I am glad I don't have payments.

Wow, that's a ton of Camaros gone forever.
Watching some of those youtube videos killing off some of these cars made me sick to my stomach.
