Car Storage Q's

Hey I was wondering how everyone here who stores their car over winter goes about doing this. For the last couple of years I have had the luxury of being able to store my car in my grandparents garage over winter while they were in florida. But it doesn't look like I will be able to do this next winter so I am trying to find other options.

My family having six drivers doesn't leave a lot of room in our driveway, so I wouldn't be able to store it there, and I would really like to keep it out of the weather. I've looked into like public storage places but I can't find anything under $100 a month, so its not worth storing my car for close to a thousand dollars a year.

Do I have any other options, or is it just fork over the money, cover it in the driveway, or get lucky with a cheap/free storage place like I did? Are there any other places to store cars over winter?

Any ideas of what you guys do is appreciated.
