Called out by 2009 challenger rt........
So this new challenger owner that works with me insulted my mustang and T/A and wants to race. They make about 370-375 hp stock I hear. Anybody run one yet what's needed to beat one?

Ive beat one before. I have a lid,TB,LS6 Intake,LT Headers, Y pipe and Magnaflow. Not tuned yet.

If you don't think so then run him in the TA. As has been stated (and I've seen at the track) stock they run high 13's at best with low 14's being the norm. And that's the SRT8 (6.1) not the RT (5.7). I'd guess the RT is slower still. Originally Posted by Murder after Midnight

I also own a 2009 Challenger RT, and can confirm that they are detuned out the ass... Nice riding car, but it's a dog... HP Tuners hasen't released the tuning package yet...

Beat him with the 'stang and you can say "I whooped you with my grocery getter. Want to run the real thing?" I was thinking of a 99+ when I said you could beat him, but you still might...

Doesn't the Challenger weigh in around 4,000 lbs? Even with the hp, that's a lot of extra baggage to get moving.
