C5 z06 or c6

Sometimes you need someone to tell you what to do. So, ls1.com what should I get? Both vettes I'm looking at have ~30k miles, the z06 is an 03 and the dealer wants 26k. The c6 is an 05 and it's going for 27.5k. So... Help me out here

I would go with the C5 Co6 if you love performance, if you like looks go for the C6... The C6 is just great.

I maybe looking into a 2008 C6 6-Speed LT1, Black/Black... But it's about $100 more then what I want to spend a month... Try to make a chart on pros and cons... This car 21,000 Miles btw and there asking $33,000.

Not bad, but just an fyi on the prices around here... As for the C5, around here one like that will fetch, $23,000.

Once you test drive them both you will understand the reasoning behind getting the Z06.
Iv been in the market for a Vette for about 4 months, trying to sell the SS to get one, After test driving several years and models the Z06 comes out ahead everytime...

the C5 ZO6 is only 3 seconds faster than a C6 Z51 around the nurburgring. I'm a sucker for things that are new so since the performance was so similar, heck a different day the C6 may have been faster than the Z06, I'd go with the C6. Besides a few mods and you'd be killing C5 Z06's all day. Also can't beat the looks of that C6.

My dad was in the same situation last year when he got rid of the trans am. He drove both but the C6 was a lot nicer so he ended up getting that.

i thought the c6 and c5 zo6 were rated nearly the same in performance. 405hp/400tq ls6 for the c5 z and 400hp/400tq ls2 for the c6. same weight. the only thing i can think of might be suspension. mid 12s for both in the 1/4. with a quick search i found 12.5 for both in the 1/4. now the only thing that the 03 boasts for me is the 50th anni edition. but i couldnt have a collector. i like to drive my car.

in a couple years a C5 with look ancient like the C4, regardless if is a z06 or not. The c5 design is already 10+years old. The prices will drop more and every white trash/ghetto idiot will be buying them just like how 4th gens are starting to be bought up like 3rd gens, by the same idiots.

the C6 style looks better inside and out. and you can make it perform better than the c5 z06 with a few mods.

Thanks ! there are some good deals out their right now. I always wanted a C5 Z06 since they came out. They both have their + and - I myself still like the looks of the C5 Z06 over the base C6.
