Maybe if it had the 'posts' in the center of the wing like the T/A it wouldn't look quite as out of place.

    Almost looks good IMO.

Surprisingly, it doesn't look nearly as bad as I would have thought.

I hate wings on Corvettes though, period. I can't stand all the C4's running around with them.

Wings/spoilers look out of place on nearly any car.

I think it looks good, The wing is my favorite part of the 4th gen TAs. It is what made me like TAs over Camaros when I was yunger. It wouldnt work on a C6 because it is to sqaured off of a body, but the round C5, it ok. IMO

Same, the WS6 is and IMHO the best looking car on the road... But I would rather have a C5...

Our '74 had a wing on it when my wife bought it 20-some years ago. It has sort of grown on me and we kept it as part of the recent restoration (photo is overexposed and makes the color look off -- it is really more of a maroon than red):

does that wing make it harder to put gas in it? My dad had a vette like that, except it was shit brown. I remeber it had a luggage rack or some shit back where you put the gas in. i was a kid, but always wondered why the gas cap was there?

Funny you should mention that... this car was originally "shit brown". You have to be careful anyway with the gas fill right in the middle of the rear deck -- not much more difficult with the wing. I just hold the hose up and away with one hand and haven't had a problem.

Nothing against brown vettes, I just dont like a brown anything. It had brown interior too, not tan, brown. Double shit, but it was still real cool, I loved the side exhaust. Except when I burned my legs. does your stingray have side exhaust?

Used to have side pipes back in the day. Now its 2-1/2" duals with Magnaflow mufflers. That whole burning the leg thing gets old - especially when there are kids now that you have to worry about.
