buying a new vehicle
Me and my wife are looking into buying a new vehicle for her. the two that we are looking at is either an 08 accord ex 4 cyl. or an 08 altima 2.5 s. I was a nissan salesman so I know alot about there product line, but I would like to hear from someone who owns one of the two cars. tell me what you like about it and what you don't.

I like the look of the new altimas more then the accords...both have good engines

I like the style of the exterior on the altima better but the interior of the accord is nicer to me. although the altima is no slouch.

I use to sell nissan products and I will still get the employee pricing at my local nissan store. those maximas are sweet as hell if we had the cash that would be the one I would get but we want to stay around 400 a month. I have pretty much decided on the altima but I was just wondering if the new design had any flaws that I am not awair of

shit man...this is a no-brainer if you still get the employee pricing at the nissan dealer...get the altima. oh...but beware...they just had a major recall on them.

If the Nissan dealer were worth a shit, they'd take care of the recall for the ones on the lot asap.
The Nissan's CVT is very nice, you really don't feel that bitch shift. They're nice to me. I sold Nissans for a little while, not too bad of a car, IMO.

Navy Blue Metalic- 1999 Z28 Convertible
I was about to say the same thing. This month's Car and Driver has a good write-up on the new Malibu. Looks like GM has really spent some time on this one. They are saying this car may start to turn GM around. It even comes in a Hybrid model. (wrong crowd for that statement!)
As for Honda or Nissan - HONDA for sure. Better long term reliability, smoother ride, better resale. You can't go wrong with the Accord. It's worth a few thousand more. The Honda is soooooo boring, but a great car if you aren't trying to make a statement.
