Blue- 1980 Camaro-4sale
Button
So I've only driven a Camaro a few times and always in the daylight.
But I'm looking at getting one yadda yadda, going for a test drive next saturday yadda yadda.
I have pictures of it, but what's tickling my brain is this button. I'm sure the lights would be on one of the arms on the steering column? So what is this button? It's next to the Camaro sign, and where the ARS would be. I assume it's fog lights? Also, is it possible to put ASR on my vehicle without much hassle? I heard most of the crap is there already.
Thanks guys.

Yes fog lights
And do your fellow drivers a favor & learn how to turn them off too
See too many dipsticks running with them on 24/7
After all...they are FOG lights

Anyone in here have fog lights on a fourth gen that really work? Stock foglights on these cars are poop. I honestly think theyre just for looks anyways.

Fog lights are simply to shoot on the ground to illuminate the pavement. not to see far distances ahead. The main concern in fog is to stay on the road, you can see vehicles comming by their headlights.

to answer your question, the button on the left is the foglight on/off toggle switch. the solid plastic blank button on the right would be the location of the ASR on/off toggle switch had yuor car come equipped with it. yes, you can get ASR installed on your car. how to go about doing it and the cost of doing so, I have no clue.

Automatic Slip Regulator or something like that. It puts on the breaks and pushes the gas pedal back at your foot if the rear tires are slipping. I suppose it's nice, but I only drive with mine on when I forget to turn it off. It's a pain, if your car doesn't have it, just thank your lucky start.

I'm thinking alot of people in their vehicles have "fixed them" aimed them up, and drove around with them. I get blinded when i drive around here at night.
