Buds Gun Shop Sale
I own a couple of the new Smith and Wesson Sigma's. They are damn fine guns. Buds has them on sale with a $50 mail in rebate right now. Total delivered ( shipping included in the price) to your FFL is under $300 bucks. Damn good deal for a brand new in the box S&W Sigma 9MM or .40 cal.
So just knock off $50 off the posted price....

Damn, for 300 bucks, that is a good deal. I keep reading about long, hard trigger pulls. Not that I can buy one right now, buying another pistol is not on my priority list. But this does seem like a good deal.

You know...I read that shit all the time.....trigger is no different than my Glocks.....I dont know why people post that shit...unless they are Candy Striper's or something and need a .32 ACP pocket pistol....I love the trigger pull on my S&W Sigma's....smooth and consistent....

I am being for real here.
In the state of FL, you have to be 21 to purchase a handgun. But can you still have one "gifted" to you? To my understanding that's the only legal way to attain one? I would of course give him cash, but is it still legal? If so, I am buying one. I am 19 btw.

Yes....full frame...I have a 9MM... and a .40 cal....they are a Glock really...actually I have read Glock sued them and won and now S&W has to share profits....
You give one of these to a blind person and they would tell you it is a Glock. Field strips and shoots exactly like a Glock for half the price

The trigger on most any striker-fired pistol is gonna be long and hard - you're cocking the pistol as you're firing it. That's what makes them safer in theory as the firing pin can't impact the primer until the trigger is pulled. (nothing can make poor trigger finger discipline safe)
The complaint people have had about the Sigma is that the pull isn't just long and heavy it's also supposedly clunky and/or inconsistent. Sarge says his pulls smooth and clean. Maybe he got a factory freak or maybe SW has corrected the complaint.
Either way, that's a very good price for a very reliable pistol.

Yeah the trigger was an issue.....but not the latest (since 2009 Model came out)....But like Pennzoil causes sludge....it wont go away I agree it is a lil bit harder pull than a Glock...but not an issue at all....

Hugger Orange/W stripes- 1999 Z28 M6
Sigmas are okay. We carry the S&W M&P .40 and it's got better ergonomics, trigger, and the quality is very good. The S&W 99's were junk though. We had constant misfires, jams, and breakage with them. Glad I carried a Glock then.
A lot is personal preference, but I never really cared for the Sigma series that much. Good value for the money though. I can buy (police/military only) the full sized M&P with night sights for around $375 on a police purchase program. For the extra $75, I'd go for the M&P over the Sigma, but that's not available to everyone.

I take my duty gun very seriously. The 99's were hated, and I was lucky enough to never have to carry one. I've carried in my career (in order)
S&W Model 66 4", .357
S&W 5906 9mm
S&W 4046 .40 (known as the boat anchor because of the weight)
Glock 23 .40
S&W M&P full size .40
Of them all, I like the M&P the best, but it was close with the Glock. When we changed guns, I bought each one except the 66.
I see this most every day, and I have good friends with their name on that memorial. I take tactics and weapons seriously.
I agree with Sarge that a Sigma is a good weapon. It ain't the absolute best, but it will get the job done IF you do your part and get proficient with it and maintain your competence. Never, EVER, forget that!
