Bought a new DD

Well Iwe finaly decided with Gas prices 4bucks and going up to buy a more fuel friendly Family car. It was a tough choice and hard as hell to go with a vehicle not made by GM. Anyways the wife realy loves it and I now get to drive the SS as my DD

Oh and my Tahoe Limited, they were going to give me nothing for it on trade. So I'm Keeping it. We bought an 08 Nissan Altima 2.5s. used with 18k miles for 18grand on the road plus they are going to have the windows tinted for us. the car stickered for just over 21grand. Anyone here have one of these? Sorry no pics it was dark when we got home. But it's black. WOW a 4 door 175 hp family ride, this is making me feel old. Hey well atleast it gets 30mpg maybe a little more. Thats alot more than the Tahoe.

Thanks guy's. I wanted the 3.5s it having a v6 and over 260hp but the price and the fuel milage changed my mind. It actualy runs out very nice. It has a slap style automatic trans 6speed that makes it a bit more sporty. Nissan calls it a CVT trans. you can't even feel it shift while in fully auto mode. kinda like my 4 wheeler. that will take some getting used to. And for a 4 banger it's pretty peppy.

Is't the 3.5 the same engine as the 350z/G35 and some mini van?

Check out nissanclub.com. I have a maxima and have had several problems with the struts, my rear door and my sunroof just went out.

How many miles are on your Maxima? And as far as a sunroof mine doesn't have one.

Im at less the 17k miles and my wife is at 25k. 2 year lease. Not a bad car over all. Most we hit in her car is 24mpg hwy. Will be getting something different this year.

I agree, My friend had a white one. he put a simple boost controller on it and turned it up to 15 psi and fried the turbo... then just sold it. He only had it a week. It had T tops and everything, damn shame IMO
