Yea, but I figure, if you're gonna save up and buy a new car, at least get a good one. I want whatever I buy to be worth the money I spend on it. That's why I'm saving up to buy either a 2001-2003 BMW M5 or Mercedes E55 AMG. You can pick up one of those around here for 10k-13k with a little less than 100k miles on them. Personally, I wouldnt have bought a Chrysler at all. I would've gotten something used and dependable for what sounds like will be a DD. Chrysler is far from dependable imo.

make sure you look into maintenance and service costs of the cars you're looking into buying
chrysler 300 was developed on the mercedes E klasse chassis wasn't it?

Not that I know of. But I'm leaning more towards the M5 anyways. More aftermarket support. Bigger community. Better overall performance. Plus, they come only in a 6speed manual. E55 only comes crap-o-matic. Originally Posted by pecha

Nope, but that's the point. Only had to keep going in for clips busting in a 9.25" limited slip which was common. They took care of us

Also, the maintenance is "free", but you have to form out 30k for a shitty one series
my friends '08 325 is in the shop constantly for the dumbest problems.

I may be lucky but my 2000 Jaguar S-type is at 115k and I havent had a single problem with it. I have talked to other owners and they say the price to fix things isnt too bad.
