    Thumbs up Bought another gun

Picked up a Remington 597. With the prices of ammo it'll be nice to have a .22 to screw around with. I chose this over the Ruger 10/22 b/c I did not want to dump a bunch of $ into a .22 & w/the 10/22 aftermarket I'd end up doing just that + I really don't like the look of the stock 10/22 nor did it feel right in my hands + the 597 came w/a scope.

Planning on ordering an AR this week or next.

Nice gun. You're right on the mark re ammo prices.

I bought a couple of Browning Buckmarks and a Henry Golden Boy in order to shoot on the cheap.

I have an old Ruger Single Six that provides hours of amusement on the cheap (provided I shoot 22 LR, not 22 WMR...)

I love 22's. any gun is fun to shoot, especially if you're shooting for accuracy with a rifle. boxes of 22 bullets aren't too expensive either.

    1,000 rounds for my .22 is $60. 1,000 rounds for my M&P .40 is $240

I have an old Winchester model 190 .22 rifle. My dad gave it to me almost 20 years ago. It's a fun little "squirrel gun." I haven't shot the thing in years, it's stowed away in my master closet.

I'll be picking up a Kahr PM9 this week. It's addicting, I'm already looking at 45's. lol I love my Glock 26, but think a .45 might make a nice addtion.

Here’s one which should make all gun owners chuckle with glee: an eeeeeevil-looking submachine gun which is nothing of the sort. This is the Auto-Ordnance version of the venerable Tommy-gun,

...except that it’s chambered in .22 LR, and can only fire in semi-auto mode (making it, for all intents and purposes, identical to a Ruger 10/22, Remington 597 or Marlin Mod 60).

Okay, maybe that eeeeevil high-capacity magazine would frighten the GFWs, because we all know that 50-round .22 magazines are the choice of gangbangers and drug lords everywhere.

I have to tell y’all this, though: if this were produced in a full-auto variant, I would seriously consider going through the hassle of getting a Class III license just so I could have one of them. A full-auto Tommy gun which shoots affordable .22 LR ammo at (say) 650rpm?

1000 rounds for my .308 is $650 for the ammo I shoot, but I can buy cheaper ammo if I want for only $350.
