Big day tomorrow

Tomorrow I start my pre license class for my real estate license. I'm taking a big chance here, I just hate what I do now and I've always wanted to do this so I'm finally doing it. Time to kick some ass and make some money (hopefully)

A friends mom, who happens to work in Orlando. She says it's the best time for her now. She sells so many foreclosed houses cash, to rich parents for there college kids.

I wanted to do this outside of high school but my grandparents convinced me not to because the market would crash, and it did, so I thank them for that. But now its picking up so I'm diving in. Plus I plan on moving in a few years to Maggie Valley, NC and being a realtor there. Thats my dream, and I want to get some money and experience right now.

Yep, I can vouch for this, lots of my friends have done that. One of them, the guys mom IS a real estate agent, so that made it a bit easier in that respect.

The classes shouldnt be too bad. I got my license about a 2 years ago, unfortunately every real estate broker I went to pushed for me to work full time, buy signs, buy ads, etc. so you would have an advantage over the competition. Between the startup costs and working full time, it didnt pan out for me. Good luck man and hopefully it all works out for you.

What do you do for a living, I've thought about dabbing into realestate... But unsure about it, personally I rather sale cars then houses. But one pays more then the other.

We have a family owned business and we do all the promotions for upcomming tv shows, top self liquor, high end cosmetics, and well as other various things. Myself, I actually design and make the prototypes and then the customer approves them eventually (after MANY changes). There is definately money for real estate, but you really need to fight to earn your position in the office. In any real estate office I've been to, it's like vultures fighting for customers since it is commission based. If you have the time to build a customer base and become a lead seller and eventually a real estate broker, you can definately make a rediculous amount of cash.
