here he is chilling by one of the feeders, notice the doe in the background
now the buck has also noticed the doe urinating, time for some deer loving

Just let a chainsaw idle over that hill and set up there... his dumb ass will come wondering wtf it is. I don't consider that baiting... I consider it deer stupidity haha. Awesome lookin boy though, wish I were there to drop him

i would put him in the 150's maybe low 160's antler wise but they can be decieving with a body like that, my dad has 2 side by side on the wall in the high 170's and people always say one is only in the 160's but his body is a lot bigger than the other buck. Its definatly a mature deer and wont get much bigger he has great mass.
I would definatly shoot him, looks like you get a chance too where he is out in daylight, the big one we have on cam we have nearly 70 pictures of and never before at least 10:30 at night.

i would say 250-275, pretty damn big for oklahoma, you must be out east? we've had three killed on us this year in the mid 200's weight wise

here is our meatpole from two winters ago we own or lease a 1000 acres just for hunters and fun 8-10 rifle hunters and 8-10 bow hunters a year

really? all I ever see on I-35 is nothingness all the way from the border to about perry. I'm in north central Kansas. I google mapped osage county and it looks like deer country to me, lots of river bottom land, I like river bottoms for hunting lots of cover and lots of food.

its all about management we tell all our hunters not to shoot anything they wouldnt want on their wall and every year we get good bucks, and until we quit seeing bucks chase does we don"t allow any does to be taken, If a hunter fills his buck tag and wants a doe there is plenty of public hunting around.

what pisses me off though is that last tues we get a call from the gentleman who owns the land and tells us four of his family members are coming down and will be hunting the land.... wtf!! they havent spent years getting the herd to the point it is, well they took two small bucks and a 8pt that weighed 145!! that buck still needed a few years before it was harvested!! and they shot a little doe off the place too!! im still mad as fuck over it

that does suck, do you lease the hunting rights or just have permission, with have the same problems with our neighbors they dont manage but we do and the deer arent gonna always be on our land.
