Who else is planning on making the 700+ mile trek from Texas to Georgia?
Unless something major happens... I'm driving my ass from NC to Texas so do it...

I think it would be a sweet sight seeing all those cars flying down the road! Doc, you know you wanna go!

start in Texarkana, Texas and drive through Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama and then on to Georgia. Our destination will be Atlanta and the YearOne Experience which is May 18-20, 2007

Too close to G11 man! That's a helluva lot of driving! From here, to TX, to ATL, back to here, back to ATL for G11.

Got back from the trip Monday morning around 1 am... man was that a BLAST!!! We had around 80-100 Trans Ams on the road at any one time... there were a few camaros, a catalina, a grand prix, a couple GTOs, etc. Sounds like there will be another run next year... plans are still up in the air.. but I met a BUNCH of people that I can see will be friends for a very long time. If anyone is bored, do a google search for Bandit Run... you will find newspaper clips, magazine entries, videos, and tons of pictures!
These are a few links to videos and pics from the run.. lots of people still haven't posted what they took... but supposedly Hot Rod magazine is putting out a show in August about our run..and another magazine is having a big article in August as well. And the Black Trans Am with silver sidestripes and silver grills is yours truely.

Enjoy! Oh.. and if anyone was on I20 last week from NC to Tx.. you probably had me wave at you! lol. Oh, the best part of the run.. was 80+ cars flying down the highway at 120+ and having the cops sit on the side of the road waving at us as we flew by!

Yeah, the first time we saw 3 sitting all next to eachother holding something.. we thought it was radar.. ALL our noses dropped.. till we noticed they were VIDEO CAMERAS! They smiled and waved!

We had a god turn out at the Year One Exp with all of the Trans Ams that was there. I was really hoping they would have took our LS7 Trans Am on the run, but they decided not to so they could unveil it at the Exp. Glad it was a good time.
