    Smile Back to School

I got an AA degree a year or so ago and its about time to cash in. However, the major I was going for isnt something I want now...and with my pre-requisites specifically for it, I am wondering how hard it would be to be accepted in a state college under a different major.

In any case, my question is, has anyone on here sent out multiple applications to the same school but under multiple majors? If so, do you have to pay for EACH application? How do you declare a minor?

Anyone that has any stories of transferring, switching of major trouble, or just plain nervousness of moving away, please chime in. If I wasnt 26 Id be 18 and lost with this shit.

    Thank you in advance!

Well, it shouldn't be too hard to get accepted, and you usually don't have to declare a major on the application. However, once your at a school, if you're not planning on following the major that you already have the AA degree, it means that you won't have as many credits already counting toward your new major, so you'll probably have to spend another year or two at the school(or more credit hours per semester) to make up for the other prereqs you don't have.
