Attempted plane attack

Im sure everyone's heard of this by now, how this guy tried to light a bomb but it failed to go off on the plane from amsterdam. I was curious as to y no one had a thread about it yet. What I want to know, is why people dont have people like this on their watch lists. What I mean is that this guy was known to have terrorist ties. When they scan you at the airport, your name's cross referenced to see if ur on a watch list or terrorist list. Why dont they just pool all the names together, even the ones that have ties, to make sure stuff like this has a less likelyhood of happening. I'd say that security in amsterdam should have caught it but I dont know what it's like there. anyway, people like this who even have ties to terrorists should have their names on a list and checked more at airports. It seems like security is a big thing lately, with the white house crashers, the woman assaulting the pope, the plane incident...seriously people stop dropping the ball...

Hey Ramairgod84,I made a response(a joke)to a similiar thread earlier today,apparently noboby thought it was funny!The point is,Your point,is exactly right.These people that are known to have terrorist ties should not be allowed to so much as get into a taxi-cab,let alone a public airliner!!! so when the airport scans my name does it come up with the guy who tried to make it big in mma and has yet to produce any kind of career or does it get a 21 year old from las vegas? names are way too common for shit like that.

Its amsterdam they dont care lol, shit when I landed their going to kuwait they kept us in a secure room so we couldnt go around the airport for some reason.
