Anytime Fitness?

Looking to join a gym, I've been wanting to for a while, but I just quit pop (three cans a day minimum for past 8 years) and now I got the incentive to bring it home. They just opened up a brand new anytime fitness near me and was wondering if it is any good and what their rates run?

In Iowa it's called Pop, we drink it from a pop can, out of a pop machine. The only soda we drink is a&w cream soda. And you most refer to it as a type of pop.

My wife just joined an Anytime Fitness here in Augusta, GA. They have a deal going that if you join three people from the same family it works to be about $180 each for six months. Small place, but they have current equipment. Really small free weight area...that is why I will continue to work out here at Fort Gordon.

BTW, I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA (before joining the Army) and they call Coke, Pepsi...whatever "pop" also. I have been converted to southern speaking and now call it "soda".

Thanks, now follow up, it does not seem feminine for a dude to go there right? I mean, I'd like to tell people I work out at Gus's Gym in the rough district, not Anytime Fitness down at the mall.

nah . . . i lot of guys i know go to the YWCA here, just because its cheaper. YWCA is about $30 a month and YMCA is about $45. Those two are about the only fitness places around here, unless you go to the BSU Rec Center and its free if your a student.

Anytime fittness is pretty cool cuz you can go there whenever you want (open 24 hours) you get a card and just swip it! I dont know their rates, but it would probly differ anyways.

The couple times I have been in there it has been a mix (Men and Women) but I doubt you would ever find Lee Haney in an Anytime Fitness center.

Work out and get in shape for you and don't give a @!%# about what anyone thinks about where you work out.
