Anyone Watching MTV true life-"street racer"?

im watching it right now, and this is complete BS.

they film a bunch of Ricers with their POS Hondas and integras. Where is the Muscle? one guy says it makes 220hp on motor and 300 on nitrous. they call that power?

also. theres a guy that races his car, but he cant afford tabs, and he doesnt have a drivers license. give me a..... D-U-M-B-A-S-S

why are all the streetracing documentaries about Rice Rockets?

sorry just venting about a good show idea with crappy people.

i think the true life shows are on sundays late afternoon. most the time they suck but there are a few interesting ones

if I remember correctly, an integra owner started buying aftermarket parts like a year before he had even saved up enough money to buy the car itself.

(it was either on "true life" or some other show like that)

Actually 300 horses in a car that light would be pretty nasty if it hooks up. I saw that episode a while back. I don't understand the whole $500 a race deal though. I hate losing $5 at anything. I could also see some people getting shot over $500.

I guess I just look at it a little differently than some people. I see it as kids building up cars they can afford. Not a ton of kids out there can run out and buy an LS1 car and beat on it like they do the imports. The kids could be sitting in front of a TV playing video games so I'm just glad there's a future in hot rodding no matter what kinda car it is. The cars aren't personally my taste but that's because I can afford something else. If I were their age and had the same income I'd probably be right beside them. Some are morons but the same can be said for any group of car guys on the planet.

Yah, I watched it last night... It was pretty bad. Afterwards, the True Life: I want to be a Sumo Wrestler was pretty good though.

More entertaining than the rice rockets.

I did the whole import thing, honda civic, nissan maxima, and now I got a formula. All the other kids I associate with still are in their own little 4 and 6 cylinder worlds. which is fine, as long as they go easy on the rice, and big on the boost then everyones happy.
